Rotate & Translate Points Issue
We have discovered an error when rotating and translating points. This error occurs in the latest version (Carlson2012) of both iCAD6 & iCAD7, also verified that it does this on more than one computer here. After importing points, we list the points and verify that they imported correct. Then we rotate the points & translate the points, after that one point is put way out in space. Then we list the points again and all of them look good except for that one point. Seems to always be the last point that gets thrown out in space. This happens every time we rotate and translate points. For a temporary work around we make a junk point at the very end so that all of our points rotate and translate properly.

I can't repeat this problem. The Translate and Rotate commands have several options. Can you let me know which options you're using and the steps to repeat the problem?
ReplyDeleteWe have narrowed it down some, when rotating & translating if we use a point range wider than the actual point range the error occurs. I.E. if we are working with points 3000-3029 and for simplicity sake we enter 3000-4000 (last point in the file being 3029). We also discovered that if we enter the actual point range it does work correct. Please try and run it again using a larger point range than what you are working with.
